Far Cry 6 will see the return of the “Fangs for Hire” system but will now be called “Amigos”. The first of which has been introduced to the world and people are in love with him already. Chorizo is a paraplegic sausage dog that will help players throughout their journey and kill enemies with kindness.

Chorizo in Far Cry 6 follows the trend of adorable animals in the series. Far Cry 5 included Cheeseburger the bear, Peaches the wild cat and Boomer the dog. New Dawn included a wild boar. Chorizo will join the Fangs for Hire aka “Amigos” in Far Cry 6 along with other unannounced animals.
While at first, we thought this cute sausage dog was a pre-order bonus, it is not the case. However, players who pre-order Far Cry 6 will get a unique “Freedom” skin for Chorizo. The character itself is included for all owners of the game.
Far Cry 6 was announced last night during the Ubisoft Forward event. The game takes place in a fictional city of Cuba as players take down a powerful dictator named Anton Castillo played by Giancarlo Esposito. The game is set to launch on 28 February 2021 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PC and Stadia.
Players will be able to play as either male or female Dani Rojas, a local Yaran swept up in a revolution against Anton Castillo. As Dani, players will become a guerrilla fighter and explore and unite an entire island nation, from lush jungles to Yara’s capital city Esperanza. To succeed against the overwhelming power of Anton’s regime, players will need to be resourceful as they employ an arsenal of unique new weapons, vehicles and Fangs For Hire like Chorizo, the cutest wiener dog on wheels.
