Ubisoft has announced another launch date for Far Cry 6. This being after the game was initially delayed from its February 2021 launch. The game has sort of been re-revealed in a brand new gameplay trailer along with its 7 October 2021 release date. Far Cry 6 launches on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS5, PS4, Stadia, Epic Games and Ubisoft Connect.
By the look of the trailer, Far Cry 6 seems to blend the chaotic gameplay from Far Cry 3 into a massive open world. Players will be able to use crazy weapons to take down their foes while even wearing mortar-powered backpacks. You can also pet crocodiles, ride horses, drive cars around and call on all the cute and ferocious companions to help you in your missions.
In Far Cry 6, players are immersed in the adrenaline-filled, chaotic world of a modern-day guerrilla revolution. Welcome to Yara, a tropical paradise frozen in time. As dictator of Yara, Anton Castillo is intent on restoring his nation back to its former glory by any means, with his son, Diego, following in his bloody footsteps. Become a guerrilla fighter and burn their regime to the ground.
