Konami has an exclusivity deal with Juventus FC for PES 2020 and that makes things a bit difficult for EA and FIFA 20. This deal was announced earlier this week and Konami now has exclusive rights to the Italian Serie A club to use their kits, stadium, name, crest and more in their upcoming game. That leaves FIFA 20 with an issue, as they can’t use the Juventus FC name or anything mentioned above.

Thankfully for fans of the football game franchise, the changes have been detailed by EA and it isn’t all that bad. The club will be called Piemonte Calcio and yes, Christiano Renaldo will still be there for you to play with. However, new kits and everything else exclusive to PES 2020 will be changed.
This is exactly the same way PES has been forced to change the name of clubs for many years now thanks to exclusivity deals with EA and the their franchise. EA explained the changes in a post, including a questions and answers section. Check out the highlights below.
- Piemonte Calcio will be a new playable team in FIFA 20 with a custom badge and kit throughout Kick-Off, Career Mode, and EA SPORTS VOLTA Football.
- Piemonte Calcio will use real-world, authentic players in FIFA 20 and FIFA 20 Ultimate Team.
- Piemonte Calcio players’ Chemistry within FIFA 20 Ultimate Team is unaffected by these changes.
