As of now, we don’t know what the news is. However, we can predict a few things. Firstly, it has almost been a year since Final Fantasy VII Remake released on PS4. Although the game released on 10 April 2020 due to a delay in development, the original release date was set for 3 March. According to the original agreement with Square Enix, Final Fantasy VII Remake would stay a PS4 exclusive for one year. This means that Xbox and PC players might see a port announcement this weekend which could slate the game to release in early March.
Secondly, there’s been talk of a possible PS5 and Xbox Series X/S version of the game currently in development. If this is true, then we could also see the announcement take place this weekend. Whatever happens, we will share the news as it is announced.
