On 12 November 2018, the world lost the legendary Stan Lee, the co-creator of many of the Marvel superheroes we know and love. He was without a doubt one of the best comic book creators and authors the world has ever seen, and we’ve seen quite a lot of him in the MCU as well. His cameo appearances in all the Marvel movies just never got all as they were always just so creative and entertaining. Now, it has been revealed that Stan Lee’s final cameo will appear in Avengers: Endgame.

Stan Lee’s cinematic journey will come to an end on 26 April when Avengers: Endgame hits cinemas. It is an end of an era, not just because of what the film will show, but because we will never again see a new cameo from Mr Lee in a Marvel film. This heartbreaking news comes from the directors of Avengers: Endgame, the Russo brothers.
During a press day in Los Angeles, Joe Russo confirmed to Mashable that:
It’s his last one committed to film. have to say, I think it’s astonishing that this would be his last cameo. It’s just kind of mind-boggling that he made it to the end of this run. I can’t believe it.
Anthony Russo also commented on Stan Lee and how it was to work with the legend, talking about his personality while filming a cameo.
We have all these movie stars on that set, and when Stan came to set, everybody would be like kids again. It was always a lot of fun shooting these cameos because he was very charming, and he would maybe get the crew going, and everybody would be laughing and having a good time.
Many fans will probably have mixed feelings about Mr Lee’s final cameo appearance. Sure, it is something to look forward to, but then again, it will be the last time we ever see a new cameo.
