The first gameplay trailer for the upcoming Fast & Furious Crossroads game is out. It marks our first official look at the action we can expect to see when the game launches in August 2020 on PS4, Xbox One and PC. The gameplay trailer features some wild moments, explosions and action. A typical experience when watching an F&F movie. It is nice to see the game bringing the same cheesy and over-the-top action to the plate as the film series does. From shooting up a hovercraft’s armour to leaping across massive chasms. The game does not seem short on action.

While originally we thought the game would be a racing experience which mimicked the original movie. However, that is not the case. Instead, the upcoming Fast & Furious Crossroads game will take players on some wild journey with crazy jumps, machine gun-powered cars and even wrecking balls attached to your roof. It is pretty out there for a racing game and borders on the insane more than anything else.
One of the missions seen in the trailer features a Ford GT with a roof-mounted crane device. The player steals a giant container and uses it as a wrecking ball to escape the authorities at a shipping yard. If anything, the game sort of reminds me of the classic Twisted Metal and something you would experience in the Just Cause series. Let’s just hope it is good.
So far, the reception has not been great. Trailers on YouTube have been disliked more than liked. Players are underwhelmed by the game’s gameplay, visuals and cheesy dialogue.
Fast & Furious Crossroads releases on 7 August 2020 for PS4, Xbox One and PC. The game is being developed by SlightlyMad Studios and published by Bandai Namco. Check out the Fast & Furious Crossroads gameplay trailer down below;
