First Look At Hot Toys Spider-Man: No Way Home’s Black and Gold Suit

Spider-Man: No Way Home will introduce a few new costumes for Peter Parker, but none stand out quite as vibrantly as the black and gold outfit briefly seen in clips of the teaser trailer. However, thanks to a new Hot Toys figure, we now have a closer look at Spider-Man’s gold suit, complete with details you may have missed on first glance.

Hot Toys recently released a handful of screenshots displaying the black and gold suit that will be featured in the upcoming film Spider-Man: No Way Home. Unlike Peter’s last two suits that sported the iconic blue and red design, this one will go for a more stealthy black and gold design. Upon closer inspection of the figures, Peter seems to have flashy gold gauntlets on his arms that might hold a few new gadgets. The gold webbing on his suit also appears more defined and bold, putting an emphasis on its almost mechanical edges.

The Hot Toys figure will also include some add-ons such as a base, interchangeable hands and eyes, webs, a mysterious orange chest piece and Tom Holland’s head in case you want the figure unmasked. You can order the stunning figure at a bit of a hefty $270, though will only ship from January 2022.

The MCU is expanding thanks to the newly introduced multiverse concept, allowing for many Spider-Man friends and villains to cross over from other universes and still make sense for the story. The teaser trailer includes a look at Marc Webb’s Electro and Sam Raimi’s Doc Ock, Sandman and Green Goblin, while other eagle-eyed fans noticed Lizard. However, the biggest question is whether or not previous Spider-Men Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield will make an appearance. Perhaps this black and gold suit may be directly tied into their stories, hence the secrecy surrounding the outfit.

Spider-Man: No Way Home will release exclusively in cinemas on 17 December 2021, with Marvel’s Eternals also scheduled to arrive in cinemas this November.
