First Trailer For Marvel’s Loki, and The Falcon and The Winter Soldier Released

Marvel’s Loki trailer finally dropped and gives us a closer look at the strange alternative continuation story which fans have been looking forward to. From what we gather, Loki is now a prisoner of the Time Variance Authority. This is as a result of the events that took place during Marvel’s The Avengers: Endgame where Loki grabbed the Tesseract. In addition to the Loki series trailer, Marvel also released the first trailer for The Falcon and The Winter Soldier series.

Marvel plans on releasing Loki on Disney Plus in May 2021. It is unclear how many episodes the series will arrive with and how the show will tie into Disney’s other Marvel content planned for the service. However, given how intertwined the MCU is, viewers can expect all these streamable series to interlink somehow.

The Falcon and The Winter Soldier series has been a long time coming. It was originally meant to be the first big Disney Plus series but was delayed multiple times due to reshoots. Thankfully, users will be able to watch it in March 2021 when it releases in a six-episode run. The show takes place after the events of Avengers: Endgame. Steve Rogers has retired from his role as Captain America and Sam Wilson has taken over.

We can only hope that Disney Plus arrives in SA in time for all these great shows. WandaVision is the first to debut on 15 January followed by The Falcon and The Winter Soldier in March and Loki in May.
