Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 3 Brings Aquaman and a Whole Lot of Water

After several delays, Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 3 has finally arrived. By the look of things, the new season brings with it some new gameplay mechanics along with Aquaman and a large emphasis on water. At the end of Season 2, there was a massive storm which has caused much of the Fortnite map to flood. Luckily, players will now be able to explore this new map with new vehicles. In addition to a new season, Epic Games has also added the ability to customize your umbrella.

The new Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 3 trailer showcases some of the things players can expect when they jump into the game today. A new portion of the map has been transformed into a floating water town. In addition, other parts of the map have also been flooded causing some drastic gameplay changes to each area. Players will have to use vehicles and launch pads to get around faster now that the ground has been covered. The trailer showcases some of these including a shark-like ski, speed boats and more.

The new season will also bring some fancy new cosmetics to earn including a Jason Momoa Aquaman skin, a cat-controlled robot death machine, and an armoured character skin. However, Epic says Aquaman will release later in the season.

As mentioned before, players will also be able to customize their umbrellas now in more ways than one allowing you to show off some unique skins. Epic Games claims the Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 3 Battle Pass will instantly unlock the Fade and Ocean Outfits.
