Fortnite Chapter 2 The End Epic Games

Fortnite Folders for Doom, Vader and Family Guy Spotted on Unreal Livestream

The latest season of Fortnite is underway with plenty of crossover events and collaborations announced and on the horizon. However, the recent Unreal Engine 5 livestream may have given us a big clue about at least three potential collaborations happening in the future: Doom, Darth Vader and Family Guy.

The three folders were quickly spotted by eagle-eyed viewers during the Unreal Engine 5 livestream, which hints at future Fortnite collaborations that might include Doom (possibly the Doom Slayer), Darth Vader from the Star Wars franchise and Family Guy, the popular animated adult cartoon series.

For years now, fans have been asking for a Doom crossover with Fortnite, requesting the Doom Slayer (or Doomguy) to be added as a skin. Despite being at the forefront of pop and geek culture, it’s weird that Darth Vader had never officially been added to Fortnite given Epic Games’ knack for adding key movie and gaming icons. Better late than never.

Family Guy seems the most misplaced in this line-up, though it wouldn’t be the first time that Fortnite added mostly adult-oriented content to the title. Previous crossovers for more mature media included Rick & Morty, Deadpool, John Wick and more. Perhaps in the near future, we might even see South Park join the fray. That would certainly shake things up.

As with all leaks, take this with a grain of salt. Even though the leak originates from one of Epic’s own livestreams, it’s possible that these might just be placeholder names or something entirely different and not linked to Fortnite. We’ll just have to wait for an official confirmation from Epic, but in all honesty, these seem likely to happen at some point, with the closest being Darth Vader being added on 4 May (Star Wars day).

Fortnite is now available on most major consoles, mobile and PC.
