Fortnite New Game Modes Leak

Fortnite is Getting Multiple New Game Modes – Report

Fortnite is reportedly set to receive a handful of new game modes in the near future. According to a new leak, there are several codenames for these modes already with descriptions about what each will bring to the game in future updates, including a long-awaited open-world mode that had apparently been in the works for the last two years.

The leak originates from X user Egyptian Fortnite Leaker who seems to have a decent track record of leaks related to the game. The leaker provided a breakdown (below) of each new game mode rumoured to be coming to Fortnite, either sooner or later. The user didn’t provide a timeline for when to expect these new modes so we’re assuming that they’ll arrive at different points in time through massive updates. Alternatively, there’s also a chance that Epic Games could simply launch all of them simultaneously as part of a major overhaul of the game.

Have a look at all the rumoured game modes that might be heading to Fortnite, per the leaker:

  • Codename ‘Figment’: OG Related Gamemode, available in Build and Zero Build, all squad sizes available.
  • Codename ‘LightBunny’: Mini-BR with maximum 50 players, Looks to be only available in Solo.
  • Codename ‘Feral’: 5v5 Core Mode, also has ranked.

Back in August, Epic Games confirmed that old battle pass cosmetics in Fortnite will eventually be sold in the in-game item shop, meaning players will have a chance to purchase cosmetics and skins that they might’ve missed in past seasons.
