Devil May Cry and James Cameron’s Avatar might be the next big collaborations for the popular battle royale game, Fortnite. A new rumour suggests that both properties will be crossing over with Fortnite in the form of new outfits based on the characters from the franchises including Dante and Jake Sully.
The rumour originates from Xbox Era’s Spheshal Nick, who claims that Fortnite will collaborate with Avatar and Devil May Cry soon, bringing Dante, Jake Sully and other cosmetic items to the game. This hasn’t been fully corroborated yet so take it with a pinch of salt. However, Nick accurately leaked both the DOOM and TMNT collaborations for Fortnite in the past so he has a good track record when it comes to leaks related to the game.

Some players believe that the Devil May Cry collab will arrive in time for the release of Netflix’s upcoming anime adaptation, with the outfit reflecting Dante’s design in the series. The Avatar franchise, which currently consists of two mega-blockbuster movies and a recent game from Ubisoft, also makes sense for a Fortnite crossover given its popularity in the mainstream.
Capcom, the publisher of the Devil May Cry series, previously collaborated with Fortnite by bringing Resident Evil outfits and cosmetics to the game including skins for Leon S. Kennedy, Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield, so the company already has a good relationship with Epic Games.
In other Fortnite news, the game recently added a handful of new modes such as LEGO, Rocket Racing and Festival. Fans believed that it would be a limited time event but Epic Games confirmed that all three modes are here to stay. Despite featuring several mascots from PlayStation and Xbox, Epic Games says it’s still trying to get several Nintendo characters including Mario and Link into the game.
