Everyone’s favourite childhood game is coming to Fortnite for a limited time in Fortnite The Floor is Lava. As it turns out, that volcano and lava vents weren’t just for show and in classic Epic Games fashion, they were actually an in-game hint at the next limited time mode.
The announcement of the game mode was seen over on the game’s news feed where Epic Games announced the limited mode. “Get to high ground or build above the lava that’s overtaking the island”, reads the descriptions.

Fortnite The Floor is Lava is expected to drop with the next upcoming v8.20 update which is being released this Wednesday, 27 March 2019. The mode will also be exclusive to the battle royale mode which will add a cool spin onto the usual PvP experience.

Fortnite Season 8 has been quite eventful thus far as Epic Games added in three new items in the past few updates which include the Buried Treasure, The baller vehicle and the new Flint-Knock pistol.
