Its the most wonderful time of the year, in Fortnite that is. Epic Games have launched the Fortnite Winterfest event and starting today for the next two weeks, players can battle it out in the game and unlock daily gifts such as skins, gliders and emotes. Fortnite Winterfest is an annual event which adds the new lodge area to the game where players can celebrate the holiday season in the best way possible.

The lodge features a load of in-game activities such as a fire to warm up against and a range of presents that you can pick from one a day and open it. Players will be able to choose a gift, shake it to feel what’s inside and even choose a different one if they wish.
Fortnite Winterfest will last the next 14 days or so and is actually taking place at the same time as the Star Wars crossover event meaning players will be able to get some Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker goodies in these gifts too.
Epic Games has also launched the new “Battle Lab” feature in the creative mode that lets players create the craziest combat scenarios;
