Yesterday we reported on the teaser image from Epic Games that showed off a possible Borderlands 3 event coming to Fortnite and just a few hours later, the event FortniteXMayhem has officially gone live.

Dubbed the “ForntniteXMayhem” event, the current Fortnite timed event sees players drop into the Pandora Rift Zone and collect a full set of Psycho gear along with a talking Claptrap. Other cosmetic items include Borderlands-themed stickers along with Pandora-style weapons.
The Borderlands.com details the FortniteXMayhem event and explains the various pieces of gear you can collect from the event during its duration. The Psycho Bungle includes;

According to the blog, all the items that are available through the event can also be obtained by purchasing a copy of Borderlands 3 through the Epic Game Store if you use the same Epic Games account to purchase the game as you use to play Fortnite.

The blog also explains that users can pre-purchase Borderlands 3 now and unlock the full Psycho Bundle right away. This offer is valid until December 2020. Players can also choose to purchase the Psycho bundle for 2000 Vbucks if they would rather not pre-order the game.
Borderlands 3 is releasing on 12 September 2019 for PS4, Xbox One and the Epic Games Store.
