Forza Horizon 5 PC Specifications

Forza Horizon 5 First DLC Expansion Could Arrive Soon

The first DLC expansion for Forza Horizon 5 could be arriving soon, according to a new report by Video Games Chronicle. The report suggests that the DLC is already in the testing phase and might be announced in the coming months, which will likely add a new location, cars and events.

As spotted by Aggiornamenti Lumia (via VGC), Forza Horizon 5 is getting its first DLC expansion very soon. Microsoft recently started testing WOODSTOCK_DLC_FLIGHT through the Xbox Insider hub, which is interesting because “Woodstock” was the working title for Forza Horizon 5.

The Forza Horizon 5 Expansions Bundle is currently available on the Xbox Store, which “includes two game expansions when they become available. Each expansion will introduce a new location, vehicles and gameplay.”

Unlike previous updates that sporadically added new vehicles to the game, this major expansion will introduce a range of new cars along with a new location.

Forza Horizon 4 previously received two huge expansions: Fortune Island, which added a new mountainous region to the game along with new cars; and LEGO Speed Champions, which added the LEGO Valley area, unique challenges and a handful of LEGO-themed remodeled cars.

Forza Horizon 5 released last year for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC to critical acclaim. Many websites rated it among the best games of 2021, with praise given to its diverse biomes of Mexico, wide variety of cars, improved gameplay and handling, and striking visuals.

Developer Playground Games might be working on new DLC content for the game, but they’re also quietly hard at work on the next Fable title which aims to be a reboot of the popular open-world RPG franchise.

Forza Horizon 5 is now available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC. It’s also available via Xbox Game Pass.
