The next instalment in the Epic Games Store free games collection is now available. After leaking earlier this week, we learnt that Sid Meier’s Civilization VI would be free and next week the Borderlands: The Handsome Collection would follow. It seems the leak was true after all.

Anyone with an Epic Game Store account can head into the launcher and add Sid Meier’s Civilization VI to their account for free. However, the offer ends on 28 May 2020 so make sure you do it before this time next week.
The Epic Games Store free games have been hugely successful in the past few weeks. This was mainly thanks to GTA V which went up for free last week. The game drew so much traffic that Epic Games servers and Fortnite went offline due to the high demand. While Sid Meier’s Civilization VI is not as popular as GTA V, it is still an awesome free game to keep in your library in case you ever wanted to take over the world.

If the previous leaks are correct, next week users should be able to get Borderlands: The Handsome Collection for free followed by Ark the week after that. However, let’s wait and see what happens first.
