From Software The Duskbloods Nintendo Switch 2 Exclusive 2026

From Software’s New Game ‘The Duskbloods’ Announced as Switch 2 Exclusive

From Software has announced a brand new multiplayer action-RPG titled The Duskbloods from director Hidetaka Miyazaki. The game is currently scheduled to launch sometime in 2026 and it will be exclusive to the Nintendo Switch 2.

Evoking a combination of Elden Ring and Bloodborne, The Duskbloods seems to take place in a new fantasy kingdom where players will encounter nightmarish creatures while wielding new abilities and weapons like guns and blood-sucking capabilities, suggesting vampirism or some form of it will play into the game’s mechanics. There was a lot of “blood” mentioned in the trailer, so bear with us. The aesthetic also appears to be drawing inspiration from gothic architecture and steampunk.

Apart from some familiar gameplay shown off in the trailer, Nintendo confirmed that it will be a multiplayer title, sort of following in the footsteps of Elden Ring Nightreign.

The Duskbloods will be exclusive to Nintendo Switch 2 when it launches sometime in 2026, though no release date was mentioned. It also doesn’t seem to be launching on any other platform except the Switch 2 for now, though some suspect that it could be a timed exclusive.
