FTC New DOOM Oblivion Remaster Bethesda Leaked

FTC Documents Leak Oblivion Remaster, New DOOM and More Bethesda Titles

The FTC is on a roll with releasing potentially confidential Microsoft documents from its previous court case. The documents have already revealed that The Elder Scrolls 6 won’t be coming to PS5 and won’t be released until at least 2026. Now, new information from 2020 highlights several unannounced Bethesda titles that are planned to launch by FY2024 including the rumoured remaster of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, a new DOOM game, a Ghostwire: Tokyo sequel and many more.

As compiled by Reddit, the leaked FTC documents reveal a number of Bethesda titles potentially scheduled to launch by 2024 or early 2025 but all of them are currently in development. None of these games have officially been announced by the publisher and some still carry working codenames.

The unannounced games on the list are as follows:

  • Oblivion Remaster
  • Fallout 3 Remaster
  • Ghostwire: Tokyo 2
  • DOOM Zero Year
  • Licensed IP Game
  • Project Platinum
  • Project Kestrel

The Oblivion remaster might have some weight to it. Back in July, a now-deleted Reddit post revealed that Bethesda was working with Metal Gear Solid 3 remake developer Virtuos on a remaster of the fourth mainline Elder Scrolls game.

As for the rest, it comes as a bit of a surprise. The DOOM game, reportedly titled DOOM Zero Year, seems like the most obvious listing as enough time has passed since the release of DOOM Eternal for id Software to have quietly worked on a continuation. A sequel to Ghostwire: Tokyo is unexpected, to say the least, though it’s possible that developer Tango Gameworks already had plans in place for a sequel and wanted to take feedback from the first game into account to make a better follow-up.

It’s unclear what Project Platinum and Project Kestrel are but fans speculate that it could either be Wolfenstein 3 or a new title from MachineGames. We’ll just have to wait and see if any of these games are revealed in the coming months.

That would be nice if Oblivion actually gets a remaster, something besides Skyrim.
