[perfectpullquote align=”full” bordertop=”false” cite=”” link=”” color=”#33f0ff” class=”” size=”22″] On Monday 23 and Tuesday 24 September Comic Con Africa will welcome one of this year’s most recognisable tv actors – Isaac Hempstead Wright, better known as Bran Stark from Game of Thrones.

Reed Exhibitions Africa and ReedPOP announced the latest addition to the talent roll today with the news that the King of Kings Landing would be appearing for two days at Comic Con Africa 2019. Viewers around the world were recently locked to their screens as Bran the Broken became the Lord of the 6 Kingdoms and protector of the realm in the season finale of Game of Thrones.

Isaac Hempstead Wright first came to our screens when he landed the coveted role of Bran Stark back in 2011. Since then he has been a pivotal character throughout the series, but few people could have foreseen him being made king, except for the three-eyed raven himself.

Game of Thrones set a massive ratings record for the season 8 finale, with over 19 million viewers. This record-breaking stat makes it the biggest telecast in HBO’s history and the most-watched scripted entertainment programme of 2019. According to the Workforce Institute at Kronos, it was estimated that over 10 million Americans would skip work the morning after the finale. With the Lord of the 6 Kingdoms visiting Comic Con Africa in September, we expect productivity in workplaces across the country to dip significantly. [/perfectpullquote]

Comic Con Africa will also be introducing exciting additions this year that will cater for all gamers including free play zones and other tournaments. Specifics about these tournaments will be announced in due course.
