Sometimes quality gaming products are more than just a nice piece of tech to look at and use, it seems. Without going any further, I would like to suggest that no one tries to replicate this incident at home, or anywhere really. With that out of the way, reports revealed that a gaming monitor stopped a bullet and still worked perfectly fine afterwards.

If PC gamer Eric Gan compromised on the quality of his gaming products, then things might have turned out a bit differently. Eric lives in California, USA, and he revealed on Twitter (as spotted by PC Gamer) that his gaming monitor took a bullet during an incident recently.
Eric owns MSI Optix G27C2 and if he was sitting in front of his PC at the time of the incident, it could have even saved his life. This gaming monitor stopped a bullet that first travelled through a wall (so it would have less force by then) after a stranger in the street shot five bullets into his apartment as well as his friends. Eric explains the incident on Twitter, showcasing images of the back of the monitor where the bullet stopped.
House just got shot by random stranger from the street. Msi monitor got hit and blocked the bullet and still functioning. What a day.. shout out to @msiUSA @msitweets pic.twitter.com/IhwVH2BO0O

Thankfully, no one was hurt during the incident, not even the monitor. Sure, it is a tad bit damaged at the back, but Eric reports that the gaming monitor that stopped a bullet still functions perfectly fine. It is just another reason why you should never compromise quality when it comes to your gaming rig.
Again, never try this at home as you will break your stuff and possibly injure yourself as well.
