The Coalition’s Gears 5 will release on 10 September 2019 and I am pretty excited to play the next big Xbox and Windows 10 exclusive. The Gears franchise has been one of the most solid offerings from Microsoft throughout the years and if you plan on playing Gears 5 on PC, then you need to know if your gaming rig meets those Gears 5 PC system requirements.

After the first technical test completed this past weekend, Microsoft has reportedly revealed the Gears 5 PC system requirements and it looks almost identical to that of the technical test. That is to say, the Gears 5 PC system requirements are low and you should be able to at the very least play it on nearly any PC built for gaming, with Windows 10 being a must-have.
The only thing not revealed from is the HDD space requirements but expect it to be quite big as Gears 4 with all the updates is over 100GB. With that being said, check out the Gears 5 PC system requirements below. Note that no FPS or resolution target was revealed with these requirements. I suspect the minimum is literally to run the game maybe at 30FPS and the recommended would be 60FPS at 1080p with decent graphical settings, but not max.
Minimum Requirements
OS: Windows 10 version 18362.0
CPU: AMD FX-6000 Series or Intel i3 Skylake
GPU: AMD Radeon R9 280 or Nvidia GTX 760
VRAM: 2GB
DirectX: DX12 – Hardware Level 11
RAM: 6GB
Recommended Requirements
OS: Windows 10 version 18362.0
CPU: AMD Ryzen 3 or Intel i5 Skylake
GPU: AMD Radeon RX 570 or Nvidia GTX 970
VRAM: 4GB
DirectX: DX12 – Hardware Level 11
RAM: 8GB
As you can see, the game’s PC system requirements are really low and hopefully this means that the game runs smoothly for those who meet the recommended.
