PC gamers are already spoiled for choice when it comes to launchers and digital stores but that hasn’t stopped Rockstar from releasing the Rockstar Games Launcher as well. Presumably, to get people to sign up and download their launcher, the developer is giving away a game in their Grand Theft Auto franchise, GTA: San Andreas for free.

The Rockstar Games Launcher looks pretty decent and it doesn’t seem to take up too many resources, so if you want to give it a shot, all you need to do is install it and grab a free copy of GTA: San Andreas while you are at it by following this link. Signing up is totally free if you don’t have an account yet and there are no strings attached, apart from having another launcher icon on your desktop.
Rockstar explains their new launcher, stating that:

This could very well be a sign that Red Dead Redemption 2 is coming to PC soon, as the best way possible to get more people to sign up to a new store and launcher is by making a game like that exclusive to the launcher. At the time of writing, however, the developer hasn’t made an announcement regarding RDR2.
For now, you can sign up and grab a copy of GTA: San Andreas. There are other Grand Theft Auto games on the launcher that you have to pay for, as well as the likes of Bully and, LA Noire and more.
