It’s Friday, which means you have yet another free games collection to grab from the Epic Games Store. As per usual, the games are completely free for a week and if you grab them in time, they will be yours to keep forever, no strings attached. The latest freebie collection includes Ruiner and Nuclear Throne, so it isn’t the most impressive lineup ever, but it isn’t bad at all.

All you need to do is create an Epic Games Store account (which is free) if you don’t have one already and head on over to the links below to claim both Ruiner and Nuclear Throne for free, forever – or until the inevitable robot kitten uprising occurs. You have until 14 November to claim these freebies.

So what are these free games all about? Check out a description and trailer for each of the freebies from the Epic Games Store below.

Ruiner

RUINER is a brutal action shooter set in the year 2091 in the cyber metropolis Rengkok. A wired psychopath lashes out against a corrupt system to uncover the truth and retrieve his kidnapped brother under the guidance of a secretive hacker friend.

Nuclear Throne

Nuclear Throne is a post-apocalyptic roguelike-like top-down shooter. Not ‘the final hope of humanity’ post-apocalyptic, but ‘humanity is extinct and mutants and monsters now roam the world’ post-apocalyptic. Fight your way through the wastelands with powerful weaponry, collecting radiation to mutate some new limbs and abilities. All these things and more you could do if only you were good at this game. Can you reach the Nuclear Throne?
