Ghost of Tsushima Could Release This Year According to a Rumour

We haven’t seen or heard anything about Suckerpunch’s Ghost of Tsushima in quite a while now and since Sony didn’t attend E3 2019, information has been really scarce on the game. The game doesn’t have an official release date yet and it was expected that it would release in 2020. However, according to a rumour, Sony and Suckerpunch could be targetting a 2019 release for Ghost of Tsushima.

For those of you who don’t know, Ghost of Tsushima takes place in feudal Japan, more specifically, 1274 on Tsushima Island, during the first Mongol invasion of Japan. From the gameplay revealed last year, it looks like an amazing experience with bloody combat that will challenge players to no end. Maybe, if this rumour is to be believed, we will be taking a trip to feudal Japan and jumping into the boots of protagonist Jin Sakai earlier than expected.

The rumour about Ghost of Tsushima releasing stems from a Reddit post, reportedly showing an image from a presentation to Sony’s shareholders. You can check out the image below and note how the game is targetting a 2019 release window.

Keep in mind that this rumour should be taken with a large helping of salt until such time as Sony officially reveals the release date for Ghost of Tsushima. With that in mind, if the game does release this year, it is going to be one exciting time for PS4 owners everywhere.
