Ghost of Tsushima PC Port Reportedly Being Announced This Week

Sony will announce a new PC port for one of its popular PlayStation games this week. The company is reportedly set to announce Ghost of Tsushima for PC as early as tomorrow, 5 March.

The news comes from King Gronk Nick who has built up a trustworthy track record due to their recent leaks across PlayStation announcements.

The user posted on X stating that Ghost of Tsushima is getting a PC port announcement soon. “Maybe around the 5th?”.

Of course, we all kind of knew it was going to happen sooner or later. Sony has been porting all of its popular PS4 and PS5 games to PC. Some standouts include the Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection, Returnal, Sackboy: A Big Adventure and later in March, Horizon Forbidden West is launching on PC too.

The company’s strategy right now is to focus on the PC platform as much as possible. Helldivers 2, for example, was one of the first PlayStation Studios games to launch on PC and PS5 simultaneously. The game managed to hit record numbers for Sony reaching an all-time player peak of 450,000 on Steam. The game was so popular it crippled the servers for two weeks after its launch.

Keep in mind that a Ghost of Tsushima PC port will likely be one of the more unpopular games on the platform. While Sony struck gold with Helldivers 2, its other PC ports haven’t done overwhelmingly well by any means. Many of these games have sold in the low thousands. This is likely due to the large time gap between the PS5 launch and the PC port. Many gamers simply purchase the game on PlayStation and skip it on PC.
