Ghost of Tsushima is set to release on 17 July 2020 and it is looking great. Sucker Punch released a full 18-minute gameplay video last week for the upcoming game. In addition, the video showcased the open world, combat, side missions and much more. During the weekend, Sony updated the Ghost of Tsushima PlayStation Store listing with the PS4 file size for the game. To much surprise, the game is not that big.

According to the PlayStation Store, Ghost of Tsushima will require 50GB of HDD storage space to install. While this may change closer to launch, this means you will need to free up some hard drive space in order to download or install the game from a disc.
The Ghost of Tsushima 50GB PS4 file size is not huge at all. We have recently been drowning in massive install files across the board. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is sitting at over 100GB, Final Fantasy VII Remake is close to 100GB. In addition, the upcoming The Last of Us Part 2 is also huge shipping on two discs and requiring close to 100GB of storage space. It is nice to have a smaller game for a change.
If you missed the Sucker Punch Ghost of Tsushima gameplay last week, you can catch up on it here. The video touches on a few of the game’s mechanics including the samurai and ghost combat system, the vast open world and guiding wind and much more. The game is looking great and we can’t wait to get our hands on it on 17 July 2020.
