Ghost of Tsushima Teaser Trailer Released at the State of Play

Sucker Punch and Sony unleashed a new Ghost of Tsushima teaser trailer at the State of Play last night and while the trailer doesn’t show all that much, it is great to see the game again after a long absence. The PS4 exclusive title (possibly for PS5 as well) doesn’t have a release date just yet but maybe, just maybe, we will get one later this week.

The Ghost of Tsushima teaser trailer (view at the bottom of this article) might sound strange, as we’ve already seen gameplay, so what is Sony and Sucker Punch teasing? Well, a full trailer will be shown off at The Game Awards, which takes place on 12 December 2019 (13 December at 03:30 for South Africans) where a full trailer and possibly more will be revealed for this highly anticipated PS4 exclusive.

In the teaser trailer, we see the last samurai, Jin Sakai, stalking and then subsequently challenging a group of Mongolians, which makes sense as the game takes place on Tsushima Island in the late 13th century during the first Mongol invasion of Japan He appears in the distance and when the soldiers see him and start charging, he throws down what looks like a smoke bomb, which could be a hint that you can use smoke bombs in the game, as the trailer is a mix of cinematics and gameplay captured on the PS4 Pro.

Ghost of Tsushima is still without a release date from Sony and Sucker Punch, but hopefully, we will at least get a release window or an announcement that it is coming to the PS5 as well during The Game Awards scheduled to take place later this week.
