The incredibly wild and awe-inspiring physics-based chaos-engine Goat Simulator will receive a sequel in November for the PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. The game itself, despite being a direct sequel to the original Goat Simulator, is titled Goat Simulator 3 because why not make the naming as ridiculous as the game itself?
While it has been a running joke since its launch in 2014, it is an incredibly complex physics-based chaos-simulator that offers a beautiful dopamine surge of chaotic goat energy. If you have no idea what I am talking about, Goat Simulator literally pits you as a goat and straps a cosmic arsenal of tools to you, in order for you to run around and cause as much chaos as you possibly can.

The developers intended the project as a joke – I mean, it’s literally a goat running around with weapons causing absolute mayhem and chaos – but its sales figures are nothing to laugh at. Goat Simulator has gone on to sell “millions” since its launch back in 2014 and has since convinced developer Coffee Stain Studios that it is time for a sequel.
The sequel, which is Goat Simulator 3 despite being the second entry, was officially announced earlier in the year offering a new sandbox world known as San Angora, with new quests, collectables and secrets for you to uncover. The sequel will also offer four-player co-op to increase your mayhem four-fold and challenge friends to ridiculous tasks, 300 customisable gear options, as well as the ability to harness four elements to aid in your conquest of chaos – fire, electricity, oil and alien goo.
Goat Simulator 3 will release on the 17th of November for the PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC and will be available both physically and digitally. Is anyone else hoping for a Goat Simulator 3 Collectors Edition? Just me? Okay.
