God of War Ragnarok Gets PlayStation Plus Trial

If you didn’t pick God of War Ragnarok up at launch in November last year, you can now give the game a try through the PlayStation Plus Premium subscription. The God of Ragnarok trial is now available on the service giving PS4 and PS5 owners an opportunity to play the masterpiece for three hours without purchasing the game.

Of course, like all other PlayStation Plus game trials, should you wish to purchase the game, you can then carry over all your data from the trial to the main game without having to start from scratch or even redownload the game.

This three-hour trial is also longer than most of Sony’s other game trials available on PlayStation Plus Premium. Most other games offer a two-hour or even 60-minute demo before cutting you off. Sony clearly wants players to experience a good portion of God of War Ragnarok in this trial.

Three hours of the game should introduce you to the story as well as take you past the great opening and first major fight.

If you haven’t picked God of War Ragnarok up yet, more than 11 million sales were recorded for the game in the first 10 weeks of launch. It is officially the fastest-selling first-party game from PlayStation Studios.

I reviewed it back in November and loved it. I even got the platinum trophy soon after the launch. You can catch up on my review here or watch it below.
