God of War Ragnarok Combat Details Revealed Santa Monica Studio

God of War Ragnarok PS4 File Size Leaked and It’s Massive

The PS4 file size for Sony Santa Monica Studio’s upcoming action-adventure game, God of War Ragnarok, has seemingly leaked. According to reliable Twitter account PlayStation Game Size, the game’s download page on PS4 updated yesterday to confirm a file size of 90.6GB for the anticipated PlayStation exclusive.

If this proves to be true, 90.6GB is quite a hefty file size for God of War Ragnarok. Then again, most modern games – especially AAA titles – have massive file sizes attached to them. This is also taking into account that the game might receive a day one patch which could bump that size up a bit more.

MORE RAGNAROK – New God of War Ragnarok Combat Details Revealed

God of War Ragnarok recently received a new trailer at PlayStation’s State of Play event, showcasing the huge locations, events, characters and encounters across the game’s epic story. If we’re also travelling to more Norse realms this time, then it’s safe to assume that Ragnarok will be substantially larger than its 2018 predecessor, both in scope as well as file size.

PlayStation’s official description for God of War Ragnarok reads:

“From Santa Monica Studio comes the sequel to the critically acclaimed God of War (2018). Fimbulwinter is well underway. Kratos and Atreus must journey to each of the Nine Realms in search of answers as Asgardian forces prepare for a prophesied battle that will end the world. Along the way they will explore stunning, mythical landscapes, and face fearsome enemies in the form of Norse gods and monsters. The threat of Ragnarök grows ever closer. Kratos and Atreus must choose between their own safety and the safety of the realms.”

In related news, Ragnarok will feature over 60 accessibility options. It will also receive a themed limited edition DualSense controller.

God of War Ragnarok releases on 9 November 2022 for PS4 and PS5.
