God of War Ragnarok Release Date Leaked Through Merchandise

God of War Ragnarok was originally meant to release last year but Sony sadly had to delay the game due to ongoing issues with the covid-19 pandemic. The pandemic has put a strain on dozens of games mainly due to the work-from-home approach developers have had to implement. However, Sony promised God of War Ragnarok would release this year and according to its official merchandise, gamers will most likely be playing it in September.

A range of cool-looking God of War: Ragnarok merchandise was uploaded to Geeky Zone in the UK with all the expected shipping dates set for September 2022. According to the listing, the merchandise includes a snapback cap, Kratos plushie, beanie and a combo pack with all the stuff included in one package.

The stock is expected to release on 30 September which is a Friday. If you don’t remember, this is not the first time we have seen a 30 September release date for God of War: Ragnarok. A report in 2021 claimed that Sony is targeting the Friday date to launch the sequel.

While this is still unconfirmed, the date does line up with what we have previously heard. However, you should still take this with a pinch of salt for now. Sony has yet to share any official information regarding the game’s launch. The company is expected to host a State of Play event in the coming weeks with reports pointing to a June showcase. Other rumours claim that Sony will host a State of Play in June but also a larger event in September.

But Sony will be Sony. They seem to do whatever they want and have a somewhat unpredictable history of events and announcements.
