Gotham Knights has officially gone gold ahead of the game’s launch in October. The game is set to launch on 25 October and now that the game has gone gold, it means it will slowly start its mass production process as it gets manufactured onto discs, packaged, uploaded to the various database servers and prepped for launch.
It is strange to see the game go gold so far away from launch. Game distribution can take less than three weeks if done correctly so we could have been playing Gotham Knights sooner. Perhaps there are some logistic issues and recent mergers delaying the shipping of the game so better safe than sorry.

Gotham Knights has been a long time coming. The game was announced way back in August 2020 during the DC FanDome event. It is an open-world RPG with co-op support and features four playable heroes. There’s Nightwing, Red Hood, Batgirl and Robin. Batman is also dead…. or that is how it seems right now. The game takes place after the events of Batman Arkham Knight and the city has now fallen to a mysterious cult called the Court of Owls.
