The PlayStation download size for Gotham Knights, the upcoming open-world superhero action game from Warner Bros. Games, has been revealed. While it’s still a decently sizeable download at 41.030GB for PS5, it’s also par for the course when it comes to AAA releases today. This initial download size also doesn’t factor in a potential day one patch, which might add to that size.
Reliable Twitter account PlayStation Game Size revealed that Gotham Knights will take up around 41.030GB of space for version 1.002.000, at least on PS5, though we can presumably expect a similar file size for Xbox Series X/S and PC as well. Additionally, players will be able to pre-load the game starting on 19 October, just two days before its release.

Warner Bros. Games has been pushing the marketing for Gotham Knights, giving us plenty of trailers, gameplay and even hands-on time for select media outlets over the past few months leading up to its launch. With the release date just around the corner, we’ll likely see more information drop including the initial reviews once the embargo breaks.
Gotham Knights is being developed by Batman: Arkham Origins studio Warner Bros. Montreal and takes place in a universe detached from Rockstady’s Arkham trilogy. It follows the Batfamily consisting of Red Hood, Robin, Nightwing and Batgirl as they deal with the aftermath of Bruce Wayne/Batmans supposed death. The shadowy organisation known as the Court of Owls have risen in the wake of his passing and it’s up to the team to stop them and get to the bottom of Batman’s demise.
In related news, an epic cinematic trailer for Gotham Knights was released earlier this week along with the full trophy list (though beware of potential spoilers in the trophy descriptions).
Gotham Knights launches on 21 October 2022 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
