While you can still grab DiRT Rally from Steam for free right now, there’s another free game that PC gamers can pick up and keep forever. The game is called Merry Glade from IndieGala and if you claim it in time, it will be yours to keep forever and play at your leisure.

Merry Glade is an indie title that could be the cure for those Monday blues. Even if it isn’t, everyone still loves free stuff, right? All you need to do is have (or register for) a free IndieGala account and then head on over to this link to claim Merry Glade for free and keep it forever, or at the very least until the inevitable kitten robot uprising occurs.
The free game is described as a “bloody love story between a bunny and a carrot” the game was developed by Anatoliy Loginovskikh. From the trailer you can view at the bottom of this article, it looks pretty fun and bloody, with some nice little puzzles thrown into the mix for good measure. A description of the game reads:
[perfectpullquote align=”full” bordertop=”false” cite=”” link=”” color=”#ed1c29″ class=”” size=”22″]A Merry Glade is a bloody love story between Bunny and Carrot. Easy mouse control and funny puzzles make the game accessible for anyone. Although there’s the catch… There’s too much death and blood in it. Bunny will have to avoid all the traps and enemies to get to his Carrot. And sometimes it takes more than one try to do that…[/perfectpullquote]
It is probably not safe for children to play this free game. The developer comments on Merry Glade, explaining that: “Actually I don’t know what to say. Despite its childish style, the game has lots of blood and gore. I wouldn’t show it to children…”
Over on Steam, the game has a “Very Positive” user review rating and sells for R36, so it is probably not a bad idea to grab it for free. It might even remind you of a little show called “Happy Tree Friends”.
