Gran Turismo 7, the award-winning racing simulator game from PlayStation and developer Polyphony Digital, is expected to receive a big update next week. Details are still quite scarce on what the full update entails but judging by the teaser image released, it looks like a handful of highly demanded vehicles are being added to the game.
Revealed by Gran Turismo creator Kazunori Yamauchi, a handful of new cars will be added to Gran Turismo 7 in the next big update, though it might include more than just a few new vehicles for players to acquire. The teaser image is shrouded in shadows so it’s difficult to make out which car models are being teased, though some eagle-eyed fans were quick to point them out.

According to Twitter/X user Fighterman_FFRC, these are the cars coming to Gran Turismo 7 next week, though we can’t entirely confirm it yet:
- Lexus LFA 2010
- Porsche 992 GT3 RS
- GR-R R33 NISMO 400R
- Mercedes Benz 190E EVO2
- Tesla Model 3
- Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 2018
- Dodge Charger 1969
A previous rumour suggested that this will be the largest update that Gran Turismo 7 has received so far. Again, details are quite murky on what else might be included in this next update but we won’t have to wait too long to find out.
The last massive update for Gran Turismo 7 launched back in February and added PS VR2 support, classic tracks, a number of new vehicles and more. You can read the full list of additions right here. As for a PC port, Polyphony Digital mentioned last year that it would consider looking into bringing the racing sim to PC but its focus was on the PlayStation versions first and foremost.
Gran Turismo 7 is currently available for PS4 and PS5.
