The official reveal trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6 is expected to drop tomorrow – the (very) long-awaited follow-up to GTA V and the next big release from Rockstar Games. Ahead of its announcement this week, Rockstar has been teasing the trailer’s arrival and breaking records on social media. Here’s when and where you can watch the first trailer for GTA 6 as it’s announced.
While Rockstar Games hasn’t officially called it GTA 6, most fans suspect this to be the case if the studio continues sticking with its numbered format for new entries in the franchise. According to previous reports (one directly coming from publisher Take-Two itself), there’s a good chance that the game could launch sometime next year or early 2025 at the latest. In the wake of the game’s brilliant (and minimalistic) marketing, Take-Two’s shares soared.

When to Watch
According to Rockstar Games, the first trailer for GTA 6 will officially drop on 5 December at 9AM ET / 6AM PT or 4PM CAT for South Africans – thankfully it’s not in the awful early hours of the morning so you can quickly tune in for the reveal in the afternoon.
Where to Watch
There will be quite a few places where you’ll be able to watch the trailer as it drops online. Rockstar Games will no doubt release the trailer on its X profile (formerly known as Twitter). Alternatively, you can keep an eye on the official Rockstar Games YouTube channel too. There’s currently a livestream countdown to the trailer tomorrow which we’ve embedded for everyone below.
