GTA 6 Will Set The Bar “For All Entertainment” Says Take-Two

Take-Two is confident that GTA 6 will change not only the gaming industry but also general entertainment when it releases sometime in the future. The next GTA was announced in February when Rockstar confirmed that the game was officially in development. Publisher and parent company, Take-Two recently spoke out about the game during a recent financial report. According to the publisher, development on GTA 6 is “well underway”. The company followed up by stating that the new Grand Theft Auto will set creative benchmarks for the series.

Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick said, “With the development of the next entry in the Grand Theft Auto series well underway, the Rockstar Games team is determined to once again set creative benchmarks for the series, our industry, and for all entertainment, just as the label has done with every one of their frontline releases.”

Of course, this doesn’t give us much to go on but given Rockstar’s history of video game releases, you shouldn’t have to worry whether or not GTA 6 is going to be good or not. It will probably be a masterpiece.

Late in July, we reported that GTA 6 would move beyond anything Rockstar has ever done from both a gameplay and a technical standpoint. The developer hasn’t detailed any specific information regarding GTA 6 yet but a report last month revealed that the game would feature a female protagonist for the first time. While I highly doubt GTA 6 is going to change “all entertainment” forever, it will definitely be seen as a game that will usher in a new age of gaming and of course, sell millions and make Rockstar a lot of money with a whole new online mode.

According to a previous report, GTA 6 will feature an ever-evolving world with new missions and cities being added to the game on a regular basis. The game will also feature more interior areas than any game in the past while also spanning multiple eras across the story. We don’t know when GTA 6 will release but hopefully, Rockstar will share some real details on the game soon.
