Hades has been rated for the PS4 by the Game Rating and Administration of Korea. Now, before you ask yourself why this is a big deal, the Ratings Board often hints at possible new game releases in the industry. Often, when a game is about to be announced or released, the board certifies it. We saw this last year right before the PS5 release date announcement where the ratings board listed Demons’ Souls and Miles Morales.
According to the rating, PS4 owners might be able to jump into Supergiant’s much-loved dungeon crawler roguelike game very soon as Hades could land on PS4 any day now.
Hades launched back in 2020 for PC and Nintendo Switch. The game amassed a large player base as it went on to sell over a million copies by the end of the year. Hades also won multiple game of the year awards. However, the platform choice where users can play the game still remains limited to PC and Switch.
While there’s been no confirmation of Hades on PS4, it is just a matter of time before the game makes it away to other consoles and gaming hardware. The launch of the PS4 could hint at an Xbox launch at the same time. Let’s hope that is the case.
Hades is a god-like rogue-like dungeon crawler that combines the best aspects of Supergiant’s critically acclaimed titles, including the fast-paced action of Bastion, the rich atmosphere and depth of Transistor, and the character-driven storytelling of Pyre.
As the immortal Prince of the Underworld, you’ll wield the powers and mythic weapons of Olympus to break free from the clutches of the god of the dead himself, while growing stronger and unraveling more of the story with each unique escape attempt.
