Microsoft and developer Ninja Theory have officially announced that Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 will be coming to PS5 this summer along with PS5 Pro enhancements. The award-winning action-adventure game originally launched last year for Xbox Series X/S and PC but now it’s finally making its way to PlayStation. There’s no word if plans are in place for a Nintendo Switch 2 port.
Microsoft confirmed that Hellblade 2 will be available to PS5 players this summer but didn’t give an exact release date. The PS5 version will include “new features” that will also come to the Xbox and PC versions via a free update, though these features weren’t detailed. The game will be optimised for PS5 and PS5 Pro Enhanced along with haptic feedback, PlayStation revealed.
“Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 arrives optimised for PlayStation 5, and PS5 Pro Enhanced, with added features and immersive haptic feedback for new ways to experience the award-winning and critically acclaimed next chapter of Senua’s story,” reads the PlayStation store listing for the game.
The description for Hellblade 2 provided by PlayStation reads:
“The sequel to the award winning Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, Senua returns in a brutal journey of survival through the myth and torment of Viking Iceland. Intent on saving those who have fallen victim to the horrors of tyranny, Senua faces a battle of overcoming the darkness within and without.”
