Arrowhead Game Studios has detailed the Helldivers 2 PC system requirements ahead of the game’s launch on 8 February. If you don’t know, Helldivers 2 is an upcoming PS5 and PC game developed by Arrowhead Game Studios, a PlayStation Studios entity. It is the sequel to the original 2015 top-down co-op shooter where players explored an alien world while shooting and blowing creatures apart. It is also on our list of the most anticipated games of 2024.
Helldivers 2 was originally set to launch by the end of 2023. However, the game was delayed in November to 8 February. We are less than a month away from its launch and Arrowhead has confirmed that the PS5 and PC version of Helldivers 2 features cross-play. Something we expected in the first place.

When if you’re playing Helldivers 2 on PS5 you just need your console. On PC, however, the game has a range of system requirements you’ll need to keep in mind. The entry-level specs for Helldivers 2 require at least a GTX 1050 Ti or AMD Radeon RX 470. This will get you 1080p 30FPS. If you’re aiming for maxed-out settings and the best visual experience, you’ll need at least an RTX 4070 Ti or AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX.
Helldivers 2 also recommends an SSD with at least 100GB of free storage. You can also get away with an old-school HDD as long as it has 7200RPM.

In a new trailer for Helldivers 2, Arrowhead has also shared some new gameplay from the PC version of the game. The trailer reveals that players on PC can use both the mouse and keyboard or a controller to play Helldivers 2. The cross-play support also lets players jump in and out of the game instantly from any platform they are on.
Pre-orders for Helldivers 2 are now open on both platforms starting at R719 on PS5 and R719 for PC via Steam. If you pre-order the game, you’ll get three armour sets. There’s also a Super Citizen Edition up for pre-order which includes extra goodies. This version costs R1,199 on both PS5 and Steam.
