Supermasive The Quarry

Here’s Your First Look at Supermassive’s The Quarry Ahead of June Release

Supermassive has officially announced its next game called The Quarry and it is releasing sooner than expected. In June, players will be able to experience a new teen horror story created by the team behind Until Dawn. The Quarry follows the story of nine councillors on their last day of summer camp and like other Supermassive games, this is one also filled with horror and blood.

The Quarry also stars some familiar faces including Scream’s David Arquette and Lin Shaye from A Nightmare on Elm Street.  There’s also Ariel Winter who is known for her role as Alex Dunphy in Modern Family and Justice Smith from Detective Pikachu and the Jurassic World films.

Supermassive says The Quarry is set in a place called Hackett’s Quarry. These councillors have trespassed into the area to throw a party with a “no adults, no rules” mindset. However, something more sinister awaits them in the dark night and things don’t go as planned for these poor teenagers. They end up being hunted by blood-soaked people and something deadly and their party slowly turns into a bloodbath.

Players will have to make fast decisions throughout the game as they get to control all nine councillors throughout the story. The main goal is to survive the night but making the wrong move can result in a fast and gruesome death.

The Quarry also features a new seven-player online mode where players can invite their friends to watch and vote on some of the key decisions in the story. You can also play the traditional couch co-op experience where each player controls a set councillor.

The Quarry is set to launch on 10 June for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC. Check out the trailer down below. You can also visit the official site here to pre-order either the standard or deluxe edition.
