Hogwarts Legacy has been delayed to next year. Warner Bros has announced that the game, which was originally meant to release by the end of 2022 has now been pushed into next year. Originally, we didn’t have a release date at all for Hogwarts Legacy. In fact, we were hoping for a date soon but Warner Bros was clearly assessing the current development cycle. Hogwarts Legacy will now release on 10 February 2023 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC. The Nintendo Switch launch date has not been announced yet.
Warner Bros didn’t share any specific details with fans regarding the game’s delay. In a tweet on the official Hogwarts Legacy account, it simply states that the team needs a little more time to deliver the best possible game experience.

Warner Bros will likely share new information with us soon about Hogwarts Legacy. The one and only gameplay trailer debuted in March and fans are excited to see more. Now that the game has been delayed, we’ll need to practice some patience.
