Hogwarts Legacy 2022 Release Date

Hogwarts Legacy Launch Trailer Arrives Ahead of Release

The launch trailer for Hogwarts Legacy has arrived over a week ahead of the game’s big release. After several delays, the anticipated Wizarding World game will finally launch on 10 February for PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch versions will arrive at a later date.

Hogwarts Legacy‘s launch trailer goes through the motions of what fans are already excited about: creating a custom character, enrolling in Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, taking on classes, learning spells, battling dark creatures, unearthing conspiracies and flying around the open-world. For years or even decades, players hoped for an ambitious Harry Potter game like this and it looks like childhood dreams will come true very soon.

Players who purchase the Deluxe Edition of Hogwarts Legacy will receive 72 hours early access, meaning they can start playing the game on 7 February – a whole three days before the game’s official launch on 10 February. PlayStation players will receive the exclusive Haunted Hogsmeade Shop Quest which grants access to an additional dungeon, the Shopkeeper’s Cosmetic Set and in-game Hogsmeade shop. It’s unclear if these will become available on other platforms at a later stage.
