Focus Interactive has released some new gameplay from its upcoming Hood: Outlaws and Legends. The upcoming game is a multiplayer-based medieval heist experience where players take on the role of various characters and infiltrate strongholds. Hood: Outlaws and Legends was announced during the Sony State of Play last year but it was not until now that we have seen the game in action.
The first Hood: Outlaws and Legends gameplay trailer focuses specifically on one of the playable classes in the game, the Ranger who is basically a Robin Hood knockoff.

As his appearance may tell you, the Ranger uses bows and long-distance attacks to take out his enemies. He can also shoot objects in the distance to distract enemies, tag them for other players to see and even shoot ropes down from a vantage point which players can then climb up. The Ranger also comes with his fair share of gadgets and abilities that complement his play style.
Hood: Outlaws and Legends Gameplay Details
Hood: Outlaws and Legends is set to release on 10 May 2021 for PS5, PS4, Xbox and PC. The game’s official description explains the gameplay as the following:
“Faced with a merciless, unchecked state, rebels and rogues battle to claim their place among legends. To win influence with an oppressed people, rival gangs compete in daring heists to hit the wealthy where it hurts. Folk hero or gold-hungry outlaw, only the best will escape with hard-earned riches.
Two teams of 4 players compete to execute the perfect heist, in medieval environments patrolled by deadly AI guards. With the unique skills and mystical abilities of each character, moving in stealth to steal treasures unseen or dominating through loud and brutal combat.
Blood will be spilled. Riches will be stolen. Legends will be reborn.”
