Developer Guerrilla Games and publisher Sony Interactive Entertainment have officially announced Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition for PS5 and PC after the bundle was previously leaked earlier this month. As expected, players will receive a bunch of content in this package including the base game, the Burning Shores DLC, the digital art book and soundtrack, a digital comic book and several in-game items.
Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition will hit PS5 on 6 October 2023 while the PC version is still in development and scheduled to launch sometime in early 2024. Unfortunately due to the technical limitations of the PS4 concerning the Burning Shores expansion, this edition will not be available for last-gen PlayStation owners.

Horizon Forbidden West originally launched in early 2022 for PS4 and PS5, continuing the adventures of Aloy from Horizon Zero Dawn. It received one DLC in Burning Shores, expanded story content that featured graphically and mechanically intense sections – specifically one spectacular boss fight – that weren’t capable of running on PS4. As a result, Guerrilla Games made the decision to scrap the DLC for Sony’s last-gen console in favour of focusing primarily on PS5.
