Assassin’s Creed Jade is now undergoing a closed beta test. There’s no NDA for the beta test so users are now sharing videos of the game online. Videos are now being hosted on transfer websites that include hours of gameplay from the upcoming mobile game.
Assassin’s Creed Jade promises a “huge” open-world setting and by the look of things, it is delivering just that. From the gameplay I have seen, the game is a robust reimagining of the series but made for mobile. It includes the same exploration mechanics, intense combat and even stealth (shocker).

Players explore the path of Xia in Assassin’s Creed Jade. The game is set in the third century BC during the time of the first unified dynasties in China.
The footage is pretty impressive for a mobile game. However, it does look somewhat familiar at the same time. Much of the gameplay seems to take place in Greece and even includes Assassin’s Creed Odyssey’s protagonist Kassandra.
Some of the leaked gameplay is from the early parts of the game where players undertake a tutorial section in this area. The combat is pretty much spam city where players tap buttons to perform combos. You also have a series of abilities which can be pulled off by pressing other buttons.
Enemies are ranked with different levels and most of them seem to be fodder which can be killed pretty quickly.
There is a later game clip which includes enemies at higher levels. These clips show enemies at level 29 and above and they seem to deal more damage and have larger health pools. This clip also takes place in a Chinese setting with large villages to parkour through and encampments to explore.
There’s a part in the clip where the player has to kill all the enemies in a stronghold in order to take it over. There’s an auto-run feature that sees the assassin run straight ahead and automatically perform parkour jumps and leaps.
The later game clip also shows off some gear. Gear improved health and, attack output and regeneration. There also seem to be elemental modifiers on the weapons and gear which enhance certain attack styles. Gear also comes in a range of rarities.
