House Flipper 2 has now been transformed into a platformer thanks to its new Floor is Lava mode. The mode, which is now available for the makeover game, sees players turn houses into “floor is lava” courses as they need to use various items around the house to get from one point to another.
The whole mode makes complete sense. If you have ever played a Floor is Lava game before, usually, as a child, you would have to navigate through your house using cushions from your couch and tables around the living room to stay above the floor. Touch the floor and you’re out because you know, it is lava and all.
House Flipper 2 prides itself on the idea of messy houses so there’ll always be something around to use as a stepping stone to safety.
Players can build their own course in the mode and even use hanging lamps to leap across great distances and trampolines to get a giant jump into the air.
Before you think this mode is some sort of April Fool’s joke, it isn’t. The game mode is real and available now in House Flipper 2. At the moment, the mode is available for the PC version and you can share courses through the content hub.
Keep in mind that the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S version of House Flipper 2 is also set to launch on 10 April. Catch up on the Floor is Lava trailer below.
