There’s a lot to love about the Huawei Band 6 beyond its price point. The wearable comes with a 1.47-inch AMOLED FullView Display with a resolution of 194×368. This results in a colourful display that is able to deliver your information with greater clarity and detail. Health data and information has been designed to fit perfectly on the display in a more user-friendly ratio.

The 1.47-inch display also makes it easier for users to swipe around the device. Swiping left and right and up and down feels easier and more natural thanks to the larger screen space. This makes navigating around the apps and workouts easier and more user friendly than ever before.

A big feature to take into consideration on the new Huawei Band 6 is the all-day Sp02 monitoring. Sp02 monitoring helps keep track of the users’ health and generates an alarm when the blood oxygen level is too low. This helps the wearer monitor their blood oxygen levels and take action should it drop too low.

The Sp02 monitoring goes hand-in-hand with other great health tracking features on the Huawei Band 6 including continuous, real-time and accurate heart rate monitoring, and sleep and stress tracking. It also alerts the user if the resting heart rate gets too high or too low.

All of this is packed into a wearable that Huawei says can last up to two weeks on a single charge. Huawei says this is thanks to the high-efficiency chipset and smart power-saving algorithms. The Huawei Band 6 also boasts fast charging that can deliver two days of battery life on a 5-minute charge. This is achieved through the wireless magnetic charger.

For those who use the Huawei Band 6 for workouts, it now has 96 workout modes including 11 professional indoor and outdoor running, cycling, skipping and other workouts. There are also 85 customizable modes all offering a wide range of unique exercises for users to create.

South Africans can pre-order the band today from the Huawei Store here. It starts at R1,699.
