Hypercharge Unboxed is finally making its way to PlayStation. The game has been available on PC, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch for a while now, and the developers have now confirmed a PS4 and PS5 launch in the near future.
At the moment, there’s no release date for the game. The developers announced the PlayStation port in a cheesy trailer, and the Wishlist page went live straight away. There’s currently no indication of what the game will cost or when it plans to release. However, the fact that it has been confirmed is good news at least.
You can Wishlist the game here in the meantime while you wait for some sort of news surrounding the release date.
Hypercharge Unboxed is a toy-themed shooter with PvP and PvE game modes. Players fight off all sorts of toys themed around different childhood merchandise. There are some clear references to classic toys without actually using any trademarks. A lot of inspiration from Jurassic Park toys, Street Fighter figurines, and of course, Toy Soldiers.
According to the studios behind the game, Digital Cybercherries, Hypercharge Unboxed is expected to get one last major update with this PlayStation version, so players on existing platforms might find something worth jumping back into the game for.
